Privacy, Confidentiality and Safety

Catharsis Holistic Healing is committed to treating the personal information of therapy seekers, therapists, volunteers, and community members with care, dignity, and confidentiality. We collect only the information reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, coordinate services, maintain our therapist network, and support our projects. Personal information will not be sold or shared for advertising purposes. Information may only be disclosed with the individual’s consent, when necessary to coordinate requested services, or where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect someone from an immediate and serious risk of harm. While we take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, no website, email system, messaging platform, or online communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Catharsis Holistic Healing may connect individuals with independent therapists, practitioners, volunteers, interpreters, or partner organizations. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, these individuals are independent service providers and are responsible for their own professional conduct, qualifications, licensing, safeguarding practices, clinical decisions, confidentiality obligations, fees, insurance, and compliance with the laws of the country in which they practise. Inclusion in our network or directory does not constitute employment, certification, endorsement, supervision, or a guarantee of the quality, suitability, availability, or outcome of any service. People seeking support are responsible for deciding whether a practitioner is appropriate for their needs and for verifying any relevant credentials or professional registration.

The information and services provided through this website are not a substitute for emergency, psychiatric, medical, legal, or crisis care. Catharsis Holistic Healing does not guarantee specific therapeutic outcomes and cannot accept responsibility for harm, loss, disagreement, misconduct, interrupted services, or decisions arising from an independent therapeutic relationship, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded. Anyone experiencing an immediate medical or psychological emergency, or who may be at risk of harming themselves or another person, should contact local emergency or crisis services immediately.
